A current Driver’s Licence is preferred due to any travel requirements

 

What You’ll Be Learning

As a Cabinet Maker Apprentice, you’ll gain hands‑on experience across all aspects of cabinet making and joinery, including:

  • Assisting qualified cabinet makers with daily tasks
  • Manufacturing and assembling cabinetry and joinery
  • Operating hand and power tools safely
  • Reading and interpreting basic plans and measurements
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Attending TAFE as part of your apprenticeship requirements

You’ll receive a combination of on the job and off the job training, working toward completion of your Certificate III in Cabinet Making.

 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A genuine interest in a career in cabinet making
  • A current Driver’s Licence and reliable transport (preferred)
  • A Construction White Card (or willingness to obtain)
  • Commitment to completing a four year apprenticeship

Pre‑apprenticeship training in a relevant fields will be highly regarded but not essential.
