Career Coach

Skill Hire are seeking a passionate and dedicated Youth Career Coach to join our Albany team on a 6 month maternity leave contract with the possibility of extension. In this role, you will provide high quality career coaching and guidance to young people through our Support Pathway Program, incorporating the Transition to Work (TTW) program.


In this role you will:

  • Deliver high quality career coaching to young people
  • Help clients set goals and identify areas of interest
  • Provide one on one mentorship to upskill clients and empower them to reach their potential
  • Source local employment opportunities and match them to client interests and abilities
  • Establish and maintain relationships with employers throughout the region
  • Be proactive, compassionate and innovative in finding opportunities for the young people you represent

You will thrive in this role if you have:

  • Experience handling a caseload of young people in a similar setting

This exciting opportunity is based in our Albany office with travel to Mount Barker and Denmark.

To be considered for this opportunity you must hold a current driver's licence, working with children check and satisfactory national police clearance.
