Youth Career Coach

Skill Hire are seeking a passionate and dedicated Youth Career Coach to join our team in Northam on a Part Time basis. In this role, you will provide career coaching and guidance to young people as part of our Support Pathway Program, which incorporates the Transition to Work (TTW) program.

This position is based in Northam, WA, with occasional travel required to Narrogin, Merredin, and Moora.


Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality career coaching to young people
  • Support clients to set goals and identify career interests
  • Provide one on one mentoring to develop skills and empower clients to reach their potential
  • Source local employment opportunities and match them to client interests and abilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employers across the region
  • Demonstrate a proactive, compassionate, and innovative approach in identifying opportunities for young people

About You

You will thrive in this role if you have:

  • Experience managing a caseload of young people in a similar environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • The ability to manage confidential information and complete administrative tasks accurately


Mandatory Requirements:

  • A current Driver’s Licence
  • A valid Working With Children Check
  • A satisfactory National Police Clearance
