We are seeking reliable and motivated Medical Imaging students who are currently in their first or second year in 2026 to take on the role of Medical Imaging Assistant. In this role, you will be rostered and required to work across multiple SKG sites based south of the river within our MRI Departments of SKG Murdoch, SKG Kelmscott and SKG Cockburn.

As a Medical Imaging Assistant, you will be responsible for patient care prior to, during and after the procedure. Some of your many and varied duties will include:

  • Assisting our MRI Technologists during clinical procedures and other areas of the department as required
  • Assisting with the positioning of patients during procedures
  • Giving instructions to patients regarding preparation for their procedure
  • Assisting with patient transfers
  • Cleaning procedure rooms including changing of linen
  • Stock control
  • Administrative duties as required

 These positions are Casual.

Your flexibility and availability is key as shifts will be spread across the week, predominantly in the evening and on weekends across multiple sites.
