Graduate Medical Imaging Technologist

We are now accepting applications from fourth year BSc Medical Radiation Science (Medical Imaging) students who are interested in a Medical Imaging Technologist position at SKG in 2026.

Your role as a Medical Imaging Technologist will be to perform radiographic examinations producing high quality images to ensure the needs of the radiologist, patient and referring doctor are met and where possible, exceeded.

To meet our selection criteria, our ideal candidates will:

• Hold or completing a degree in Medical Radiation Science (Medical Imaging) (or equivalent)
• Be registered or eligible to register with AHPRA – Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia
• Hold or be eligible to hold a Radiation Safety Licence from the Radiological Council of WA
• Possess the ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Display excellent communication and time management skills
• Be committed to own professional development
• Display a Patients First. attitude at all times
• Possess the ability to adapt to different environments quickly and effectively
