About the role
As an Accounts Payable Officer with us, you will be responsible for:
- Processing all accounts payable invoices
- Accurately coding invoices and ensuring appropriate approvals are in place
- Coordinating and scheduling payments for approved invoices
- Performing regular reconciliations of creditor statements, resolving creditor queries and updating creditor details as required
- Assisting with various support tasks, including bank reconciliations and other finance tasks
Computer literacy and a pleasant & professional phone manner is key as you will be dealing with people over the telephone and via email.
This position is Part Time – 60 Hours per Fortnight.
You can choose to have Mondays off by working full days (7.5hrs) Tuesday to Friday or you can work 5 days per week working shorter hours.
Our Subiaco office is located a convenient 2 minute walk from the Subiaco train station and as such, car parking is not currently provided.
A working from home arrangement of one day per week will be considered.
Candidate requirements
- Experience in a similar position
- High level computer literacy
- Exceptional attention to detail
- High level data entry skills
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
