About the role

Based at our Innaloo office, this role provides reporting support to our Radiologists. In addition, you will be the point of contact for all staff to ensure the timely delivery of results and be responsible for addressing image and report queries from internal and external stakeholders. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between Clinicians, Medical Imaging Technologists (Radiographers) and Radiologists (Doctors) locally and globally. 
  • Provide comprehensive technical and administrative support to Radiologists.
  • Offer frontline support to all staff ensuring timely availability of patient reports and image transfers.
  • Provide support to our patients via the SKG Patient Portal app. 
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient information. 
  • Manage and troubleshoot various IT systems to prevent delays. 
  • Report typing and corrections duties. 

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

  • Proficiency in computer literacy is a MUST.
  • An interest in the health & medical field.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain supportive relationships with Radiologists, operations colleagues and practice staff. 
  • Excellent organisational & administrative skills with the ability to meet deadlines. 
  • Methodical thinker with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Ability to perform medical audio typing would be a plus. 
  • An understanding of radiology/medical terminology and familiarity with systems such as InteleViewer and/or InteleOrchestrator would be advantageous.

 

This is a Full Time position.

Due to the nature of the position there is an expectation for the successful candidate to work rostered weekend hours from time to time.
