We’re seeking a HSE Coach to support our early works project located approximately 4 hours north of Perth on a 2:1 roster.

As this is a true early‑works environment, the site is currently untouched land with natural vegetation, no established camp, and minimal existing infrastructure.

The Role:

  • Provide day-to-day HSE support across civil construction and early works activities
  • Monitor contractor compliance with project HSE requirements, procedures, and statutory obligations.
  • Review Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), work packs, and contractor documentation.
  • Coach and mentor supervisors and work crews to strengthen safety awareness and accountability.
  • Monitor environmental controls and ensure compliance with project environmental requirements.
  • Maintain project HSE records, reporting, and statistical data.
  • Promote a positive reporting culture and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You:

  • Minimum of Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety
  • Previous experience in an HSE Advisor role within civil construction, infrastructure, mining, resources, or major projects.
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing and managing contractor safety performance.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and strong communication skills – written and verbal
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of a project
  • ICAM, Auditing and Injury Management qualifications are desirable
