SIMPEC Pty Ltd is a diversified services provider headquartered in Perth, Western Australia, specialising in construction and asset management within the energy, infrastructure, maintenance and resources industries.

We are currently seeking a dynamic Mechanical Fitter to join an experienced maintenance team on a Sydney based project

Duties:

  • Carry out routine maintenance and emergency callouts
  • Perform scheduled maintenance to minimise disruptions onsite
  • Assist with waste reduction
  • Maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders
  • Perform scheduled maintenance in a timely manner
  • Identify defects and problem solve issues
  • Assist with waste reduction
  • Ensure all work carried out meets the project plan
  • Maintaining good relationships with stakeholders onsite

About You:

  • Previous experience in maintenance, shutdowns & inspection of works
  • Ability to prioritise your work
  • Have a strong understanding of terminal operations and equipment
  • Understand safety procedures and ability to comply with regulatory requirements
  • Be a dedicated team player
  • Strong communication skills
  • Previous experience within the shutdown or maintenance industry

Roster: Monday - Friday

Duration of Work: Approximately 2 years

Location: Sydney NSW

Essential Qualifications/Tickets

  • Mechanical Trade Certificate
  • Working At Heights: Certificate (within 2 years)
  • Construction Card
  • Confined Space Entry
  • High Risk Work Licence - Elevated Work Platform above 11 meters
  • Australian Work Rights
