We're seeking an Electrical Supervisor to join our team in Kwinana where we have been contracted for SMP and E&I works to integrate new mechanical equipment into the existing processing plant.

This will be for a full-time role with a duration of approximately 4+ months working Monday - Friday.

The Role:

  • Schedule, coordinate and supervise the daily activities of electrical work crews
  • Mentor, engage and motivate the work crews through effective and proactive communication.
  • Review work packaging and detailed planning.
  • Ensure compliance with the provisions outlined in SIMPEC’s Integrated Management System, Work Health and Safety Act 2020 and the Work Health and Safety Regulations 2022(General and Mines).
  •  Compliance with relevant electrical safety standards, such as AS/NZA 3000 (Australian/New Zealand Wiring Rules), is mandatory. These standards outline the best practices for electrical installations and ensure safety in electrical work
  • Build professional and positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders


About you:

  • WA A Grade Electrical Licence.
  • Low Voltage Rescue & Provide CPR.
  • Working knowledge of on-site statutory electrical requirements relevant to the construction industry.
  • A minimum 4 years industry experience in a supervisory role (experience in a processing plant essential)
  • A proven commitment and track record of maintaining high safety standards, adhering to safety processes/legislation and looking after the safety of work crews.
  • Experience in effective planning, scheduling, management of personnel, resources, and equipment to meet Project requirements.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, influencing and communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to build positive working relationships at all levels.
