SIMPEC have been contracted to complete the installation, testing, commissioning and startup of a gas engine generator at the Solomon Power Station. We are seeking an S26 Electrical Supervisor to commence ASAP for the remainder of the project (approximately 2-3 swings left) on a casual basis.

The Role:
- Schedule, coordinate and supervise the daily activities of electrical work crews, ensuring all work carried out in relation to electrical equipment and installations in your area of responsibility is adequately supervised – this includes electrical staff, contractors and labour hire employees.
- Ensure all workers under your supervision adhere to SIMPEC applicable procedures and process a ensuring a safe working environment.
- Review work packaging and detailed planning.
- Ensure compliance with the provisions outlined in SIMPEC’s Integrated Management System, Work Health and Safety Act 2020 and the Work Health and Safety Regulations 2022(General and Mines
- Support, coach and effectively communicate with team members.
About You:
- WA A Grade Electrical Licence.
- Low Voltage Rescue & Provide CPR.
- S26 Statutory Supervisor Qualification
- EEHA (highly regarded)
- Experience in effective planning, scheduling, management of personnel, resources, and equipment to meet Project requirements.
- 2+ Years supervision experience in FIFO Construction environment
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and strong communication skills – written and verbal.
