We are seeking an experienced Superintendent SMP to join our team on a newly awarded project in the Pilbara. This will be a full-time opportunity on a 2:1 roster with 4-5 months duration and the opportunity to transfer across to other upcoming projects.

The Role:

  • Providing ongoing functional support in site productivity and execution, data analysis, problem solving to support all aspects of project delivery. 
  • Review and monitoring of daily works, including quality inspections, daily progress reporting and leading indicator safety leadership activities.
  • Proactive identification of variations to project scope and maintain all necessary documentation for this purpose.
  • Promote, conduct and amend risk assessments to identify, highlight and implement mitigation strategies as required.
  • Support supervision in relation to coordination of work crew plant, equipment, and materials to achieve operational outcomes and targets, safely.
  • Support, coach and effectively communicate with team members to ensure consistent dealings with work staff and work crews in all areas including performance and other matters as they arise, to ensure timely, fair and acceptable issue resolution and team harmony.
  • Build professional and positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

About You:

  • Trade qualification in a related discipline
  • A minimum 2+ years' experience in a Superintendent role
  • A proven track record in effective health and safety management.
  • Experience in effective planning, scheduling, management of personnel, resources, and equipment to meet Project requirements.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, influencing and communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to build positive working relationships at all levels.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail and work well under pressure.
