We’re seeking a civil engineer who is experienced with concrete foundations and earthworks to support the initiation and setup of an early works project located approximately 4 hours north of Perth on a 2:1 roster. The role is expected to commence early September.
As this is a true early‑works environment, the site is currently untouched land with natural vegetation, no established camp, and minimal existing infrastructure

The Role:
- Working closely with stakeholders at all levels, with direct responsibility for budgeting, personnel, and project planning to ensure the success of our project
- Implementing, maintaining, coordinating, and expediting the procurement and construction elements for the designated work area in accordance with relevant engineering drawings, isometrics, standards and specifications
- Identifying and resolving technical engineering issues and associated problems which may arise throughout the duration of the project.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the project team members and subcontractors.
- Creating work packs, test packs; estimation & site variations.
- Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
- Strong and effective relationship with the Construction and/or Project Manager and other participants on site in order to provide optimal levels of day-to-day assistance and technical support.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or similar.
- Minimum 5 years+ experience in a similar role in Mining Construction – involving bulk earthworks, trenching, concrete structures and foundations.
- Demonstrated understanding of governing standards in Construction particularly Australian Standards.
- Good comprehension on planning, scheduling, construction contract management and administration
- Experienced in managing, raising, and responding to RFI’s and TQ’s
- Experience in managing/ co-ordinating subcontractors
