About the Role
Reporting into the Mobilisation and Recruitment Lead and working closely with our existing recruitment and mobilisation team, this hands-on role is to facilitate the mobilisation process and create a smooth onboarding experience for our candidates and employees. This includes pre-employment checks, testing and medicals whilst ensuring compliance for each candidate against the project and SIMPEC requirements.

Responsibilities
- Working closely with Recruitment Business Partners, arrange pre-employment medicals, run VEVO checks, book training, inductions and other compliance requirements to facilitate a seamless project mobilisation for new, existing and returning SIMPEC personnel.
- Liaise with candidates to compile and audit new employee documentation including qualifications and certificates.
- Ensure all qualification and training requirements are complete and compliant with site and SIMPEC specifications, renaming and storing information securely in employee files.
- Order and track PPE for new employees where required.
- Schedule all travel and accommodation requirements throughout the mobilisation process.
- Ensure the integrity of the recruitment database is updated and maintained on a daily basis.
- Ensure all relevant stake holders are updated with candidate progress and commencement dates.
- Support to establish new project onboarding processes in accordance with internal and client procedures, including engagement of new suppliers for PPE, accommodation / travel etc.
Skills and experience
- 2 – 3 years' experience in a mobilisation or administration role within the resources sector.
- A demonstrated ability to facilitate the end-to-end high-volume mobilisation of personnel highly regarded.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong administration and computer literacy skills with a proven ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
- Able to prioritise and seek innovative solutions to tasks and demonstrate a strong drive, output, and flexibility.
- Knowledge of visas and working checks (e.g. s400, s482 visas, VEVO checks and police clearances) is highly regarded.
- Show a desire to collaborate with a team environment and always promote a team approach.
