Boilermakers – Pipe Fitters Cockburn Cement Upgrade Project

SIMPEC Pty Ltd is a diversified services provider headquartered in Perth, Western Australia, specialising in construction and asset management within the energy, infrastructure, and resources industries.

As the result of current work scope demands, SIMPEC has ongoing opportunities for experienced Boilermaker to join our growing team.

• ASAP start, ongoing project
• A Monday to Friday work week – 50 working hours per week, early knock off on Fridays!
• Monday to Thursday - 6:00 am to 5:00 pm, Friday - 6:00 am to 2:00 pm

Rates and allowances include but are not limited to:

Casual rate

• $59.20 per hour flat
• $2.50 per hour worked Project Incentive Payment (PIP) – paid out at project completion

Full time rate

• $43.58 per hour with penalties
• $17.43 per day travel allowance
• $2.50 per hour worked Project Incentive Payment (PIP) – paid out at project completion
• 1.75 ordinary hours per week severance

About You

• Always lead by example with respect to health and safety on site, contributing and complying with all site safety initiatives and procedures, and embracing the SIMPEC SIMSafe culture framework.
• Previous experience working as a Boilermaker/Pipe Fitter on a construction project, ideally within the resources industry.
• Hold an Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
• Hold a Construction Card (WA White Card)
• Hold Working at Heights (from within the last 2 years)
• Hold a Demonstrate First Attack Firefighting ticket
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment, drug and alcohol test
