SIMPEC are seeking a HSE Coach to commence ASAP with our project team in Kwinana. We have two vacancies available (1 for day shift & 1 for night shift) for a duration of approximately 4 months. Please note, this is a clean-shaven site.

The Role:
- Coaching SIMPEC workers and leadership to excel in their approach to all aspects of health, safety, and environmental management
- Compile monthly HSE reports.
- Investigating and determining the root causes of incidents, hazards and other unsafe conditions on the job site
- Governance activities and coaching to champion SIMPEC’s Critical Risk Management Guidelines
- Auditing compliance against SIMPEC’s integrated management systems
- Assessment and control of operational risks and hazards
- Conducting inductions and other HSE related training
About You:
- Minimum of Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety
- 2+ years' experience in a HSE role within construction & mining (experience in a processing plant is highly regarded)
- Strong understanding of HSE Legislations and compliance requirements
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail and work well under pressure.
- ICAM, Taproot, Auditing, Training & Assessing qualifications not essential, but all highly regarded
