About the position

Are you a qualified Physiotherapist looking for permanent work? 38 hours per week.

The Physiotherapist practices as a multi skilled member of a multi-disciplinary team, and works across Seymour Health in the Ambulatory Services, Aged Care, and Acute Services to deliver a range of accessible interdisciplinary and integrated ambulatory services.

You will possess:

  • Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy)
  • AHPRA Registration
  • Experience in Community/clinic-based service delivery
  • Experience in general rehabilitation, community physiotherapy and chronic diseases
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in the provision of physiotherapy treatments, management, support and clinical care
  • Advanced interpersonal and communication skills, high level of computer skills (knowledge of HMS and Harrison applications an advantage)
  • Satisfactory police check and current working with children check
  • Current Victorian Driver’s License

Seymour Health is a leading small rural health service. At our site in central Seymour, over 350 staff deliver health and allied services.

Our services include a 30-bed public hospital that provides public and private Acute medical and surgical, renal dialysis and day procedures. Seymour Health’s breadth of services extends to post-acute care, palliative care, sub-acute ambulatory service, oral health services, district nursing and community services. Barrabill House is a 40-bed residential aged care service that provides highly rated residential aged care.

Seymour Health is conveniently located an hour north of Melbourne via the M31 Hume Freeway and V/Line train service.
