Your New Role

The People and Culture Coordinator provides efficient, accurate, and customer-focused coordination and administrative support across all People and Culture functions. Key functions include supporting Hiring Managers in their talent acquisition activity, onboarding new employees and ensuring compliance with ‘Employment Checks’ policies and procedures; and maintaining employee records across the employee life-cycle.

The position is the initial point of contact for all employees, and provides is first-line support. The People and Culture will triage in-coming P&C queries, and will enjoy support and career growing guidance from the P&C Business Partner and Director People and Culture.

The People & Culture and Coordinator is part of the People and Culture team within People & Culture, Division that is responsible for Human Resources, Occupational Health and Safety, Volunteer Engagement and Communications.

The People and Culture Coordinator delivers high-quality first-line support and advice while contributing to a positive employee experience, and helps ensure effective people processes, data integrity, and the successful delivery of People and Culture initiatives that support organisational objectives.

Ideally you will possess:

  • A qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience.
  • Skills, knowledge and experience of the Human Resources life-cycle and function in a medium-size organisation
  • Proven experience in P&C administration or co-ordination, ideally across talent acquisition, recruitment, onboarding, and training coordination.
  • Proven track record in proving timely quality advice to frontline employees.

About Seymour Health

Seymour Health is a leading small rural health service. At our site in central Seymour, over 300 staff deliver health and allied services.

Our services include a 30-bed public hospital that provides public and private Acute medical and surgical, renal dialysis and day procedures. Seymour Health’s breadth of services extends to post-acute care, palliative care, sub-acute ambulatory service, oral health services, district nursing and community services. Barrabill House is a 40-bed residential aged care service that provides highly rated residential aged care.

Seymour Health is conveniently located an hour north of Melbourne via the M31 Hume Freeway and V/Line train service.

Salary range $69,612 to $76,956 (Vocationally qualified); or $77,620 to $85,811(Tertiary qualified) plus generous Salary Packaging boosting take-home pay.
