About the position
We are seeking an Associate Nurse Unit Manager to assist with the management of our Acute Ward. The role would suit an experienced Associate Nurse Unit Manage or a suitably qualified and experienced Registered Nurse looking to make career progression by stepping into Management.
The position is a Fixed Term Part-time basis, The is variable EFT available depending upon the successful candidate, however 3 days/24 hours per week is preferred. The fixed term is to 1 April 2026.
What you bring:
- Managerial experience as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager, or a history working as a high-performing Nurse ready move to into an Associate Nurse Unit Manager role.
- Experience working in a Small Rural Health Service.
- Ability to work a Rotating Roster across seven days of the week.
- A collaborative and collegial approach to work to job share with other appointed Associate Nurse Unit Managers.
- An understanding of the unique challenges in Rural and Regional health.
- Current and ongoing registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Commitment to the philosophy of a person-centred approach to providing care and services.
- Satisfactory Employment Screening Checks, such as a National Police Records Check, Working with Children Check or NDIS Worker Screening Check as determined.
