About the Role
Edinburgh Health Centre is 25km North of Adelaide, at RAAF Base Edinburgh. This super-base accommodates 3500 personnel from the Australian Army and RAAF and is home to the RAAF Institute of Aviation Medicine. The health centre operates a 16-bed low-dependency ward 24/7. It also provides primary medical, aviation medical, nursing, dental, physiotherapy, mental health, pharmaceutical and rehabilitation services. Standard operating hours are generally 07:30 – 15:30 Monday – Friday; however, this position will have to cover Day, Evening, Night and weekend shifts.
As an Enrolled Nurse, you’ll:
- Provide outpatient care & health promotion
- Work with fit, healthy adults in a unique setting
- Have more time to focus on quality patient care
- Administer meds under RN supervision
Role requirements:
- Unconditional and unrestricted AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Div 2)
- minimum 2 years full-time post registration in acute, primary, or military healthcare setting within the last 5 years (or part-time equivalent)
- Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
- Australian citizenship (Baseline Security Clearance required)
