About the Opportunity

The objective of the Procurement team is to ensure the timely supply of goods and services that are critical to Acacia Prison’s ability to meet its core business objectives whilst also ensuring the system and process required to achieve this are effective and efficient. The Procurements Administrator performs tasks associated with general purchasing support and contract specific support.

This is a great opportunity to work with a high performing team, & develop your skills & experience in finance administration.

What you’ll be doing 

  • Researching new suppliers and sources of supply for various goods and services
  • Request quotes in line with ASPAC standards
  • Raising orders in line with P2P processes and policies
  • Ensuring invoices are paid on time and resolving any issues or discrepancies
  • Assist with general administration tasks to support Procurement

About you - your ideal skills & experience 

  • Good Time-management and organizational abilities
  • Strong Attention to Detail
  • Ability to work in a team and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Skills in MS Outlook and Excel is required
  • Previous experience with SAP is beneficial
  • Experience within an accounts assistance role is beneficial
