Reporting to the General Manager – Contract Support, the Assurance Manager will lead a small team of risk, quality and compliance specialists and is key to providing practical and pragmatic advice to the business on complex risk and compliance matters, in alignment with the relevant client objectives and policies. In parallel, the team also supports the business in meeting Serco ASPAC Divisional risk and assurance requirements.
The position is also accountable for governance and assurance across the Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) contract, specifically, the full risk management cycle (from identification through to close out of treatment action plans), compliance to relevant statutory obligations, standards and policies, regular updates to key risk and assurance plans and documentation, as well as ensuring we continue to hold our ISO accreditations.

Your Responsibilities include ensuring the delivery of:
•    Governance, Risk and Assurance activities (including reporting)
•    Quality Management (including ISO certification requirements)
•    Quality and Compliance
•    Team Culture & Engagement
•    Stakeholder Management

To be successful in this role you’ll have:
•    Relevant tertiary qualifications in risk management
•    Post graduate qualifications as appropriate (preferred)
•    Experience in internal auditing/reviewing internal control frameworks
•    Solid knowledge of Quality Management systems including ISO 9001 and its application to a healthcare environment and ISO31000
•    Working knowledge of NSQHSS and Business Continuity Planning
•    Highly detailed knowledge of facilities management contract management
•    Demonstrated leadership experience
