Serco operates and maintains the RSV Nuyina, Australia’s premier Antarctic research and resupply vessel. We are calling for expressions of interest from qualified maritime professionals in the following roles:
- Marine Cooks
- 3rd Engineers
- Deck and Engineering Officers
- Integrated Ratings
- Stewards
- Electro-Technical Officers (ETOs)
As part of our crew, you’ll contribute to safe and efficient operations, supporting vital research and supply missions to Antarctica.

To be successful, you must hold:
- AMSA Certification relevant to your role
- AMSA Certificate of Medical Fitness
- Right to work in Australia and a valid passport
- Ability to undergo an AAD Polar Medical Examination
- Demonstrated experience in maritime operations
- Strong teamwork, adaptability, and commitment to safety
