Make an impact at Serco

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to join the Supplies Management Service team at Fiona Stanley Hospital. In this vital role, you'll ensure a seamless flow of medical supplies that directly support patient care. You’ll be working alongside experienced inventory and reporting professionals and will be at the forefront of maintaining data integrity and optimising stock movement across hospital departments.

As an Inventory Coordinator in the Supplies Management team, you’ll make a positive impact by:

  • Monitoring and validating daily inventory purchases using Oracle’s automated replenishment system
  • Reviewing and reporting on system performance to support continuous improvement
  • Supporting strategic planning, monitoring and resourcing across supply operations
  • Updating inventory documentation including service plans and procedures
  • Collaborating with hospital teams to deliver an exceptional user experience
  • Promoting continuous improvement and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

  • Proven experience in an inventory coordination or supply chain role, ideally in healthcare or FMCG
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Confidence using Tier 1 ERP systems like Oracle or SAP, with a focus on purchasing and reporting
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders
  • A proactive mindset with a commitment to collaboration and service excellence
