As the Manager of Psychological Services at Auckland South Corrections – Kohuora, you will lead a committed team of professionals delivering high-quality therapeutic services. Your leadership will play a vital role in upholding excellence in psychological care and supporting the well-being of individuals in a high-security correctional setting.
As the Manager of Psychological Services, you will make a positive impact by:
- Leading, training, and supervising a team of psychologists, intern psychologists & psychotherapy students
- Ensuring an effective referral service and the subsequent provision of professional support
- Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders and service providers
- Implementing and maintaining service policies, clinical standards, and ethical practice
- Contributing to Serco’s strategy through research, evaluation, and cultural responsiveness initiatives

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Registration as a Psychologist in New Zealand
- Demonstrated competence in clinical assessment, treatment, and supervision
- Experience in Criminal Justice Psychology and managing therapeutic environments
- Excellent stakeholder and team management skills
- Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, bicultural practice, and equity principles
