Doltone Hospitality Group has recently been appointed as the catering partner for The Scots College located in the stunning Kangaroo Valley. We are looking an enthusiastic and reliable and casual Catering Assistants to join our growing team during this exciting new chapter. 

This role offers the opportunity to showcase your catering skills assisting with preparation and service of food while delivering consistently high standards of quality, presentation and service across daily college dining and boarding meals. This role supports the delivery of nutritious, high-quality meals and exceptional service to students and staff in a dynamic school environment.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation, presentation and service of nutritious, high-quality meals for students and teaching staff
  • Maintain consistent food quality and service in line with established standards
  • Supporting both operational and kitchen activities, ensuring smooth, efficient and constantly daily operations
  • Uphold high standard of cleanliness, organisation and food safety compliance at all times
  • Perform general cleaning duties, including dishwashing and maintaining a hygienic workspace
  • Foster a positive, professional and collaborative team culture

Your experience:

  • Previous experience with with food preparation and service in a fast-paced catering environment
  • Maintained high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and workplace safety
  • Provided friendly and professional customer service to guests
  • Supported kitchen and front-of-house teams during events, functions and daily service
  • Experience in managing cleaning duties, stock rotation and stock rotation
  • Applicants must hold or be willing to obtain a Working With Children Check (cost covered by the organisation)

Please note: This position operates during the school term only. There is no requirement to work during school holiday periods, which are unpaid, offering an excellent work–life balance aligned with the academic calendar. Own transport is required as the location is not accessible via public transport.
