We are looking a motivated and experienced Chef de Partie to join our growing culinary team during this exciting new chapter. Your main responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver nutritious, high-quality meals for students and teaching staff.
- Maintain consistent food quality and presentation in line with established standards.
- Supervise daily kitchen operations within your section, ensuring efficiency and consistency.
- Uphold kitchen cleanliness, organisation and food safety compliance at all times.
- Provide guidance, mentoring and support to catering assistants within the team.
- Foster a positive, professional and collaborative kitchen culture.
- Support training and skill development to maintain high culinary and operational standards.
Your attributes:
- Highly organised with the ability to plan, prepare and multi-task.
- Adaptable and flexible, thriving in fast-paced environment.
- Experience working to tight timelines while maintaining consistency, quality and presentation.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to quality and consistency.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Your experience:
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Formal qualification in Culinary Arts or comparable certification.
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate is essential.
- Working with Children Check is essential.
- Valid First Aid certification is desirable.

Please note: This position operates during the school term only. There is no requirement to work during school holiday periods, which are unpaid, offering an excellent work–life balance aligned with the academic calendar. Own transport is required as the location is not accessible via public transport.
