Schnitz Franchising Pty Ltd is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to support the development and execution of national marketing strategies across digital, paid media and customer engagement channels.

This role is responsible for planning, developing and organising advertising policies and campaigns and implementing digital advertising initiatives that support online sales growth, brand visibility and customer engagement across the Schnitz restaurant digital channels.

The Digital Marketing Specialist will identify market opportunities and advise on the development, coordination and implementation of marketing plans that support Schnitz’s commercial growth objectives.

The role works closely with our Support Office teams, franchise partners and external agencies to deliver integrated marketing campaigns aligned with the organisation’s commercial objectives and business strategy.

- This role is full-time, based in our South Yarra Support Office, with great access to public transport.

- The base salary for this role is $82,000.00 gross, excluding superannuation

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Campaign Delivery

- Plan, develop and execute advertising campaigns to support sales objectives and brand growth.

- Advise on key marketing elements including product mix, pricing, advertising, sales promotion and distribution channels.

- Identify market opportunities and recommend marketing strategies to reach target customers.

- Execute digital rollout of national product launch campaigns and limited time offer (LTO) promotions.

- Coordinate campaign production including creative development, copywriting, media placement and reporting.

- Analyse data from digital campaign performance and optimise marketing activity based on ROI.

Digital & Performance Marketing

- Plan, implement and manage paid advertising campaigns across digital platforms including Meta, TikTok and Google Ads.

- Manage delivery aggregator advertising including platforms such as Uber Eats and DoorDash.

- Implement SEO and SEM strategies to improve online visibility and traffic.

- Apply performance modelling to evaluate pricing and promotional effectiveness.

- Analyse digital campaign data and prepare performance reporting to inform marketing decisions.

Website & Digital Platform Management

- Manage and update the company website via WordPress CMS.

- Develop campaign landing pages to support marketing initiatives and promotions.

- Monitor website performance and recommend improvements to user experience and conversion.

- Oversee tagging, tracking and performance measurement across digital channels.

Mobile App & Loyalty Marketing

- Manage in-app promotions, loyalty campaigns and push notifications.

- Analyse mobile app performance to improve customer engagement and transaction frequency.

- Support development of digital loyalty programs and targeted promotional campaigns.

Content Development & Social Media

- Develop marketing content for digital advertising, email campaigns and social media platforms.

- Create, schedule, and manage social media content calendars and publishing across platforms including Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.

- Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and campaign messaging.

Market Research & Insights

- Conduct market research to understand consumer behaviour and brand performance.

- Commission and conduct primary market research including focus groups and surveys.

- Analyse customer insights to support marketing strategy and promotional campaigns.

- Provide data-driven recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Franchise Network Marketing Support

- Support marketing initiatives for franchise restaurants including local area marketing and new store opening campaigns.

- Develop marketing materials to support franchise partner marketing activities.

- Assist in generating franchise development leads through marketing campaigns.

Market Expansion & Localisation Strategy

- Develop localised advertising strategies to support expansion into NSW, QLD and SA.

- Conduct market research to assess brand awareness and consumer behaviour in new regions.

- Tailor creative, messaging and media placement to support emerging markets.

- Support brand recognition growth in newly entered states.

Event & Activation Marketing

- Plan and execute product launches, brand collaborations and national campaigns.

- Manage suppliers, agencies and event logistics.

- Evaluate activation ROI and engagement metrics.

Conference & Corporate Communications Support

- Support the preparation and delivery of marketing content and creative assets for the Schnitz annual conference and other corporate events.

- Develop marketing materials including presentations, campaign briefs and brand storytelling assets for franchise partners, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

- Coordinate production of conference video content, including briefing and managing external videographers and agencies.

- Design and develop visual and digital marketing materials aligned with conference themes and brand guidelines.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure conference content effectively communicates marketing performance, brand direction and upcoming initiatives.

 

Skills & Experience

Essential

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field.

- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a Marketing Specialist or Digital Marketing role.

- Experience planning and implementing digital advertising campaigns.

- Demonstrated experience in SEO, SEM and paid digital marketing.

- Experience managing website content management systems (CMS).

- Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to interpret marketing data.

- Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, franchise partners and external agencies.

Desirable

- Experience within Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), hospitality or retail sectors.

- Experience in franchise marketing environments.

- Experience using marketing analytics tools and campaign reporting platforms.

- Experience managing loyalty or mobile app marketing programs.
