The Role Recipe
- Provide Level 1 technical support for POS systems, Internet and Wi-Fi networks and Back-of-house applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues remotely.
- Monitor systems to proactively identify and address potential issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain software across the Schnitz network
- Escalate complex problems to senior IT staff when needed.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, resolutions, and processes.
- Provide user training and guidance to hospitality staff when required.
- Support data security and compliance with IT policies and local regulations.
- Collaborate with the on-site IT team to ensure seamless service delivery.
Key Ingredients
- Experience in remote IT support or service desk roles (preferred).
- Familiarity with remote support tools (e.g. TeamViewer) and restaurant/QSR systems (advantageous).
- Solid understanding of Windows/Mac OS, networking basics, and cloud-based tools.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A customer-focused, solution-oriented mindset.
- Flexible to work rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
