Schnitz is looking for a Creative Director to lead the Schnitz creative story — shaping how the brand comes to life across every touchpoint, from in-store experiences to integrated campaigns across digital, social, packaging, POS and beyond.
You’ll bring bold, culturally relevant ideas to life at pace in a fast-moving QSR environment, partnering closely with Marketing, Operations, Digital and Franchise teams to ensure Schnitz stays consistent, distinctive, and unforgettable across the network.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Brand & Creative Leadership:
- Lead and evolve the brand’s creative vision and identity
- Ensure consistent brand expression across all channels and customer touchpoints
- Act as the guardian of the brand, protecting and strengthening brand equity
Campaigns & Content:
- Lead creative development for national campaigns, promotions, and menu launches
- Translate marketing and business objectives into compelling creative concepts
- Oversee content creation across social media, digital, CRM, and always-on channels
- Develop creative that resonates with Australian consumers and culture
Team & Agency Management:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire internal creative teams
- Manage external creative, production, and media agency relationships
- Provide clear creative direction, approvals, and feedback
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner closely with Marketing, Operations, Product, Digital, and Franchise teams
- Ensure creative execution is scalable and operationally achievable
- Support franchise partners with creative guidelines and campaign toolkits
Execution & Performance:
- Deliver high-quality creative at pace
- Manage creative budgets and production timelines
- Review campaign performance and optimise creative effectiveness
What We’re Looking For:
- 8+ years’ experience in a senior creative role
- Experience within QSR, retail, FMCG, or agency environments
- Strong portfolio showcasing integrated, multi-channel campaigns
- Deep understanding of digital, social, and content-led marketing
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership capability
- Ability to balance creativity with speed-to-market and commercial outcomes
- Experience working with franchise or multi-site brands highly regarded
