We are looking for the office unicorn! An all-rounder who loves being organised, but is also keen to grow with us as we return to office life after the last couple of years. This role has become available due to an internal promotion within the People & Culture team, and is a full-time role based out of our Schnitz Support Office in South Yarra.

We can’t promise you a standard receptionist role - but to be honest we wouldn’t want to! This role is definitely a mix of the necessary stuff and the fun stuff. From organising lunch runs for meetings, keeping supplies/stationary stocked and managing the incoming mail/calls, all the way through to throwing our monthly birthday parties, organising trivia nights and helping out with our conference planning.

The Role Recipe:

  • Welcome all visitors ensuring they receive the highest level of customer service, leaving them with a positive lasting impression
  • Coordinate events and assist with the planning of company-wide meetings;
  • Professionally answer and screen incoming calls
  • Ensure presentation standards across reception and meeting spaces
  • Coordinate travel bookings via third-party travel broker
  • Organise gifts, cards and celebrations such as birthdays, anniversaries and team events
  • Ad hoc administration and housekeeping - rolling up your sleeves to look after the daily coordination of the kitchen, running errands

Key ingredients:

  • Previous experience in a face to face administration role
  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in a similar Office Coordinator/Administration/ Reception position
  • Strong MS Office and Google Suite skills 
  • Professional approach
  • A passion for personal development
  • Exceptional communication, organisation, interpersonal and decision-making skills
  • Driven to work autonomously while working in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to develop and foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to deal with difficult customers in a polite and diplomatic manner.
