Yup, we’ve sure grown in that time - from a small family business into a nationwide franchise! But the passion and care we put into crafting each schnitzel hasn’t changed, even if the wallpaper has. We're looking for the perfect all-rounder to join our South Yarra Support Office. If you enjoy real wins, hustle and bloody good chips - this opportunity could be just for you. This is a part-time role for approx. 15 hours per week, worked across Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. The hours would be from 9am to 2pm. However, we are flexible for the right candidate!
You will be the glue that holds us together, in a role that has exposure to all departments. Your daily responsibilities will range from greeting guests, keeping supplies/stationary stocked, managing internal and external email queries, credit card expenses, organising travel and assisting with events that bring our office and network together! This involves being responsible for our social calendar where you will organise our monthly meetings and celebrations, team lunches, board meetings, State Meetings and other Schnitz team events.
The Role Recipe:
- Welcome all visitors ensuring they receive the highest level of customer service, leaving them with a positive lasting impression
- Coordinate events and assist with the planning of office and company-wide meetings
- Ensure presentation standards across reception and meeting spaces
- Organise gifts, cards and celebrations such as work anniversary celebrations
- Housekeeping - keeping the shared spaces and shared office functional and organised
- Responsible for office purchases and credit card reconciliations
- Document review & formatting
- Project based research and development as required
- Ad hoc errands to support the People & Culture team and wider office
- Organising travel
Key ingredients:
- Previous experience in a face to face administration role
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar Office Coordinator/Administration/ Reception position
- Strong Microsoft Office and Google Suite skills
- Professional approach
- Exceptional written communication skills, organisation, interpersonal and decision-making skills
- Driven to work autonomously while working in a collaborative environment
- Ability to develop and foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to deal with challenging stakeholders in a polite and diplomatic manner
