Minibar Attendant - Heartland Hotel Queenstown

• Hotel: Scenic Suites & Heartland Hotel Queenstown
• Location: 27 Stanley Street, Queenstown 9300
• Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
• Wage Rate: $25–$26 per hour
• Hours of Work: Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week, 5 days on and 2 days off.
• Shifts: are during the day, generally between 7:30am and 2:00pm, with some flexibility. No evening shifts are required.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Replenish minibar items in guest rooms and ensure products are presented neatly.
• Complete regular stocktakes, monitor inventory and report any discrepancies.
• Check product expiry dates and remove damaged or expired items.
• Accurately record minibar consumption and report items for guest billing.
• Assist with receiving, storing and organising minibar stock.
• Keep minibar fridges and storage areas clean, tidy and well maintained.
• Liaise with housekeeping regarding room access and any issues identified.
• Follow hotel hygiene, food safety and health and safety procedures.
• Assist with other hotel duties as required, with additional restaurant shifts available for those interested.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in food & beverage, minibar, or a similar hospitality role preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Comfortable with stock replenishment, stocktakes, and inventory management.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good time management skills and ability to work efficiently.
