Scape Summer Internship - 2026 Program

WHO ARE WE?

Founded in 2013 as Scape Australia, leaders in student housing, we’ve since grown into a fully integrated living platform known as The Living Company. Our brands span across Student Living (Scape), Rent to Live – Affordable Housing (RTL Co.), and Retirement Living (Aveo). With more than a decade of expertise in creating purpose-driven living environments, our portfolio now includes $17bn in assets under management, 106 properties, and 35,000 beds and units nationwide.

We are taking our commitment to students to the next level and offering a number of summer internship positions to work on site at our head office. We have exciting intern opportunities to work with our developments, finance, human resources, investment management, legal, marketing, and technology teams.

THE SCAPE SUMMER INTERN PROGRAM

The Scape summer intern program is a structured, paid six (6) week program, commencing Monday, 12th January 2026 and concluding Friday, 20th February 2026.

Through the six (6)-week program you will:

• Contribute to projects and day-to-day activities within your department
• Conduct research, analyse data, and prepare reports/presentations
• Support process improvements and administrative tasks
• Build relationships across teams and act as a Scape brand ambassador
• Join workshops, training sessions, and career development events
• Participate in social and networking activities with leaders and residents
• Gain valuable on-the-job experience in a department relevant to your current studies and interests (dependent on availability)
• Contribute to a group project to propose a solution or solutions to an actual business challenge or opportunity. As part of this project you will have the opportunity to present your recommendations to a panel of HQ leaders.

WHO SHOULD APPLY?

To be considered for the 2026 Scape Summer Intern Program you must be:

• A current Scape resident, with a lease covering the duration of the internship
• In your final two years of study
• Able to commit to the full six (6) week period of the summer internship (Monday, 12th January 2026 to Friday, 20th February 2026)
• Able to commit to the Virtual Recruitment session on Tuesday 18th November
• Studying relevant subjects such as human resources, law, sustainability, business, marketing, commerce, finance, property development, building design & construction, and information technology
