THE ROLE

As a Casual Chef de Partie, you will report directly to our Head Chef and collaborate with the talented Eatery Team, dedicated to delivering exceptional service and delectable food to our student residents. Your role will be crucial in upholding our high food standards, ensuring impeccable food preparation, presentation, and cooking techniques, all in line with our established recipes and expectations. 

With regular weekends off, you'll have the opportunity to cherish quality time with loved ones, indulge in personal passions, and rejuvenate yourself for the week ahead. 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE 

We are seeking an approachable and confident self-starter who is passionate about delivering consistent customer service and can be flexible to work alongside a growing business. 

In addition, you will have the following skills and experience: 

• Minimum of 3 years previous kitchen experience 
• Experience within a buffet style environment is desired but not essential 
• General knowledge of international cuisines 
• Enthusiasm and willingness to learn 
• Great attention to detail 
• Ability to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment 
• Willingness to follow instruction  

Please note: The successful candidate must be willing to undertake a National Police Check and a Working with Children check
