Housekeeper FT (Wellness & Hygiene)

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Wellness & Hygiene Manager, the role of the Housekeeper (Wellness & Hygiene) is a full-time position located in Brisbane. You will be responsible for the day-to-day presentation and overall aesthetic appearance of our beautiful Scape assets in Brisbane; key responsibilities are as followed:  

• Daily cleaning of public areas including using a carpet cleaning machine and floor scrubbing machine in common rooms, lounges, theatre, outdoor terraces, gym and laundry
• Being fully aware with health and safety obligations 
• Hours of work will generally be Mon – Fri starting between 6am and 8am, with some occasional weekend work as required
• Weekly and monthly cleaning of student rooms
• Help prepare our buildings for open houses and tours

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Has an eye for detail
• Can prioritize tasks and time management skills
• Works well independently and on a team
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment
• Being fully aware with health and safety obligations 
• Ability to work with and relate to young adults while also maintaining professional and cultural sensitivity and boundaries 
• Has 1-2 years cleaning experience in hotels or commercial spaces

Please note: The successful candidate must be willing to undertake a National Police Check and a Working with Children check
