THE ROLE
The U18's Student Support Manager (Next Gen Team Leader) is responsible for the overall end-to-end strategy and execution of delivering the Scape Next Gen program (under 18-year-old residents) of innovative events and experiences, designed to broaden minds, strengthen skills, and open doors for student residents.
As the Next Gen Team Leader, you will be responsible for the smooth and effective operations of the Scape Sydney properties which includes:
- Act as a point of contact for U18s students who require advice on support services available to them
- Ensure students are adhering to the regulations, including Scape Community Guidelines
- Assist residents and where necessary other customers in resolving issues and complaints
- Conduct specific property inductions and welfare checks
- Build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in their welfare departments by holding regular meetings and using effective communication to manage day-to-day correspondence regarding to student welfare
- Work with the operations team to ensure consistency in delivery of the processes and procedures across all Scape properties
- Create and implement new processes and procedures relating to the welfare of student residents
- Assist with the planning and budgeting of specific events
- Monthly reporting of key statistics
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are seeking a highly motivated Next Gen Team Leader who enjoys leading a team through an engaging and inclusive approach.
In addition, you will have the following skills and experience:
- Degree qualified and at least 2 years’ experience in a customer service/event management role/welfare or community support role
- Demonstrated empathy with students and young adults, together with knowledge and understanding of the challenges affecting such students
- The successful candidate will need to obtain a National Criminal History Check and Working with Children Check
