The Role
Overseeing a $6bn debt platform across 35 facilities, The Treasury team is vertically integrated, encompassing Treasury operations, middle office, and front office activities. In this newly created role, the Treasury Officer will primarily focus on Treasury operations, with cross-training to provide backup support for the Treasury Analyst and the broader Treasury team.
In this role, you will:
- Manage accurate and timely settlement of all Treasury payments, including debt, derivatives, fees, and refinances.
- Maintain complete and up-to-date deal capture and rate-setting for all instruments in GTreasury.
- Prepare debt rollover, repayment, and drawdown recommendations by reviewing liquidity and cash flow forecasts.
- Run month-end GL processing from GTreasury to ERP and resolve any post-close accounting queries.
- Coordinate issuance and ongoing management of Bank Guarantees, including quarterly fee payments.
- Oversee transactional banking needs such as account openings, deposits, signatory updates, and platform access.
- Manage requirements across lending, derivatives, bank guarantees, deposits, and regulatory updates.
Knowledge, skills, and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field; CA/CPA qualified or progressing
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently across internal and external stakeholders
- Credible, proactive team contributor who is eager to learn and build relationships across the business
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, producing clear, high-quality analysis and presentations
- Treasury/Banking experience desirable (not essential), alongside excellent written and verbal communication skills

Important Note on Timing:
