ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an accomplished Senior Development Manager to lead our flagship, large-scale mixed-use build-to-rent ('Rent-to-Live') development in Sydney, NSW. This is your chance to shape the future of urban living, delivering top-tier Rent-to-Live and Purpose-Built Student Accommodation ('PBSA') projects that align with our strategic, sustainable, and business goals.
Based in Sydney HQ, 5 days per week, some national travel may be required.
ABOUT YOU
You will be an expert in managing the front-end delivery of complex projects, overseeing all aspects from planning to execution. Your efforts will ensure our developments meet the highest standards in resident experiences, compliance, health, and safety. You will play a vital role in guaranteeing Scape adheres to stringent regulatory standards while delivering best-in-class living environments.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience managing large-scale residential development projects in NSW.
- Minimum of 10 years of delivery experience in property development and/or construction in Australia.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of the property development lifecycle, from planning to operations.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience in budget management and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of relevant building regulations, sustainability practices, and risk management strategies.
