THE ROLE
Next Gen Coordinators play a crucial role in prioritising the safety of our U18 cohort, with a strong focus on security measures and compliance. Additionally, they are influential in nurturing personal growth and skill development among our U18 student residents, aiming to enhance their overall experiences.
The Next Gen Coordinators is responsible for:
- Acting as a contact point for students under the age of 18 year (U18) that require advice on support services available to them.
- Ensuring U18 students are adhering to the U18 regulations, including Scape House Rules.
- Assisting U18 residents and where necessary other customers in resolving issues and complaints
- Conducting specific under 18 property inductions and welfare checks.
- Building and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders in their welfare departments by holding regular meetings and using effective communication to manage day-to-day correspondence regarding to student welfare.
- Ensuring all staff are trained and briefed in their duties regarding U18 students, including daily curfew and incident reporting.
- Keeping up to date with Child Safety Standards, University requirements and specific legislation to ensure all Scape properties remain compliant under 18 accommodation
- Working with the operations team to ensure consistency in delivery of the U18 processes and procedures across all Scape properties.
- Creating and implementing new processes and procedures pertaining to the welfare of under 18 student residents
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
As the successful Next Gen Coordinators, you are a caring, highly organised and passionate individual who cares about the welfare of our U18 residents. You will also possess:
- High attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise and multitask.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work varied hours and weekends to be able to connect with residents at various times.
Please note: The successful candidate must be willing to undertake a National Police Check and a Working with Children check
