Ruah is seeking an experienced Brand & Communications Lead to drive strategic communications, strengthen our brand, and amplify our impact across Western Australia.

This 12-month maximum-term contract offers a salary from $115,709 plus superannuation, generous salary packaging, 5 weeks annual leave, and the flexibility to work full-time or 0.8 FTE from our Northbridge office.

About the Role

Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager, the Brand & Communications Lead is responsible for delivering strategic marketing and communications initiatives that strengthen Ruah's profile, reputation and engagement with key stakeholders.

You will lead integrated campaigns, oversee brand governance, drive digital communications, support stakeholder engagement, and ensure a consistent and compelling voice across all channels.

This role is based at our Northbridge office and is available on a full-time (38 hours per week) or 0.8 FTE basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic marketing and communications campaigns
  • Drive brand governance and maintain brand consistency
  • Develop engaging content across digital, social and print channels
  • Manage Ruah's website and digital communications
  • Provide communications advice and support to internal stakeholders
  • Monitor campaign performance and report on outcomes
  • Identify and share stories that showcase Ruah's services and impact

What we’re looking for

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

  • 3+ years demonstrated experience in marketing, communications, public relations or brand management
  • Demonstrated experience delivering integrated campaigns across digital and traditional channels
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Experience maintaining and applying brand standards
  • Exceptional written communication, content development and editing skills
  • Experience managing websites, digital platforms and communication channels
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management capability
  • High-level digital literacy and experience using marketing, analytics and workflow systems
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A commitment to inclusive, culturally safe and values-aligned communications

Desirable

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related discipline
  • Experience in the community services, not-for-profit or purpose-driven sectors
  • Experience supporting community engagement, advocacy or fundraising initiatives
  • Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar design platforms
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed and culturally responsive communication approaches

What do we offer?

  • A salary aligned with Level 6 of the SCHADS Award, commencing at $115,709 per annum plus superannuation, with higher rates available depending on skills and experience.
