About the Role

We are seeking a permanent full-time Finance Officer to join our Corporate Services team.

This role is part of Ruah’s Finance & Reporting function and focuses on two key areas:

  • Management of supplier payments (accounts payable)
  • Support of payroll processing and financial administration

You will play an important role in ensuring financial transactions, reconciliations and payroll support activities are completed accurately and within required timeframes.

This is a full-time position, working 38 hours per week (Monday to Friday), based in our Northbridge office.

What we’re looking for

The successful applicants will be required to meet the following criteria:

Essential

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to shared goals
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to work autonomously and use initiative
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in transaction processing
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Sound judgement, professionalism, and ability to handle confidential information appropriately
  • Demonstrated experience in:
  • Accounts payable
  • Accounts receivable
  • Financial reconciliations
  • Willingness to learn and support payroll processing

Desirable

  • Understanding of diversity, inclusion, and working within a community services environment
