About the Role

The Support Coordinator is at the forefront of the organisation in providing client facing recovery support interventions. Supported by the Team Lead, you will play an important role in improving the health and social wellbeing, housing and overall quality of life for clients, maximising functional recovery, self management and participation in the community.

This is a permanent full time position working 76 hours per fortnight.

What we’re looking for

The successful applicants will be required to meet the following criteria:

• Personal goal planning skills that contribute to the achievement of client goals in line with the Model of Care. 
• Skills in reflective practice and highly developed report writing using analytical reasoning.
• Ability to support, mentor and work alongside supporting staff members.
• Advanced computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office and client reporting system. 
• Ability to engage and maintain professional relationships with clients, and their wider formal and informal supports, with multiple needs and challenges. 
• Demonstrated understanding of complex issues facing people who experience chaotic life circumstances such as homelessness, AOD use, family/domestic violence and mental health issues. 
• Willingness and ability to work within and contribute to the vision, mission, core values and the guiding principles of the organisation. 

The following criteria are considered desirable:

•  Relevant qualifications in a related discipline at degree, diploma, or certificate level, or a less formal qualification with related work or lived experience.
•  Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of diversity and social inclusion- including gender, sexuality, disability, cultural, age, and linguistic diversity and Aboriginal culture

• A salary aligned with Level 4 of the Ruah Enterprise Agreement (and the SCHADS Award), starting at $88,372.
