Who is RMIT Online?

A subsidiary of RMIT University, RMIT Online provides world-class digital learning experiences leaning into the future of work. We are a passionate and nimble team dedicated to creating a ‘community of lifelong learners, successfully navigating the world of work.’

Teaming up with industry thought leaders and experts, we strive to deliver the best in structured, flexible online education using the latest digital tools and technologies. And we have fun along the way.

Let’s talk about you.

You're a certified Salesforce Administrator, adept at untangling digital knots and ensuring smooth sailing for systems. From managing users to crafting reports and wielding automation like a digital wizard, you're the go-to for all things Salesforce. With at least 2 years of experience as a Salesforce admin, you excel at configuring, customizing, and managing users, with strong data management and analytical skills.

As a collaborative multitasker with a knack for first-level support, you effortlessly balance priorities while maintaining high spirits. Communication is key, so we're seeking someone who collaborates well and can manage multiple priorities independently. Experience with Salesforce Reporting & Analytics tools and workflow automation is a plus, as is familiarity with data integration tools.

You'll be the glue holding our CRM world together—tailoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring peak performance. So, if you're ready to bring your skills and add a dash of humour along the way, let's make some digital magic happen!

Sounds great! Tell me about the role.

Reporting to our Salesforce Tech Lead, this is a pivotal position at RMIT Online, collaborating closely with our tech and business teams. You'll be the mastermind behind managing various sales, marketing, B2B, and student experience capabilities within Salesforce, driving quality lead generation and ensuring ongoing engagement.

Responsibilities include user management, ensuring data accuracy, designing insightful reports and dashboards, automating processes, and maintaining system security. Your role also involves providing training, driving tool adoption, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.

If you bring a sense of humour, grace under pressure, and a love for digital tech, you're ahead of the game! Bonus points for HEDA architecture knowledge.

Tell me about the team and a typical work week?

Our team culture is all about collaboration, growth, and staying ahead in the ever-evolving world of Salesforce. At the start of each week, admins kick off with checking reports, addressing user issues, and prioritizing tasks to ensure smooth operations. Throughout the week, there's a dedicated focus on user support, data quality, and building insightful reports for various departments.

We also carve out time for ongoing projects, whether it's customizing workflows or integrating Salesforce with other systems to enhance efficiency. Regular meetings with stakeholders and staying updated on new features and best practices are integral parts of our week, ensuring alignment and continuous learning. Join our vibrant team and be part of our journey to excellence in Salesforce administration!

Ticking your boxes? Here's how to apply!

Some might argue cover letters are irrelevant, however, we want to see if you're paying attention and have a good eye for detail - after all, that will be important in this role!

So, send us your resume and a brief cover letter (not written by Chat GPT) telling us about:

  • Your prior experience with Salesforce and 1st-level support
  • Your experience with other technologies that can assist in automation and data analysis
  • Why you want to work in online education
  • Your favourite knock-knock joke!
