Tractor Operator - Construction Sports Field

About the role:

As a Operator in our Construction Sports team, you will play a vital role in a diverse range of large-scale projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Drainage: Implementing effective drainage systems for optimal field performance
• Irrigation: Ensuring proper irrigation setup to maintain healthy playing surfaces
• Operating Heavy Machinery: Utilising your expertise in handling loaders, tractors, sand spreaders, and trenchers
• Mowing: Contributing to the maintenance and upkeep of sports fields
• Other Construction Tasks: Participating in various associated sports field construction activities
• Team Support: Assisting the wider Auckland team when required

What we are looking for:

• A full, class 1, 2 driver’s licence is essential – even better if you have class 4!
• Proficiency in operating machinery is required, specifically trucks, tractors, loaders, sand spreaders, mowers etc
• A positive attitude, an awesome work ethic and good record of attendance
• Excellent communication with the ability to work as a team as well as independently
• A desire to complete all tasks to the highest standards and achieve team goals
