To support our mission, we're seeking a Pest Plant Operator!
What does a Pest Plant Operator do, you ask?
In a nutshell, your role will see you take on vegetation and pest plant management activities within the regions many parks and reserves. Day-to-day your role will see you carry out chemical spraying and application of herbicides, manual removal of weeds, operating spray equipment/machinery and helping other teams as required.
Who we are looking for
Ideally, we would love someone who has pest plant management experience; however, this is not a must. As long as you are a hard worker, with a passion for working outdoors and getting stuck in then you would be a perfect candidate. Other success factors include:
- A clean and current drivers' licence with the ability to drive a manual
- A current GrowSafe Certificate
- Be a team player with a positive attitude - helping out your team mates needs to be second nature
- A desire to adhere to the company's health and safety procedures
- Motivated with a strong desire to get this job done
- Physically fit as the role does involve a lot of walking / heavy lifting
