About The Role

As a Mower Operator, you’ll play a key role in keeping Queenstown/Lakes District parks, reserves, and high-profile spaces looking their best. Your daily work will involve:

  • Operating ride-on mowers to maintain sports fields and green spaces
  • Weed eating, edging, and push mowing for those finer finishing touches
  • Performing basic maintenance to keep equipment in top condition
  • Meeting client expectations with a high standard of presentation and care

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience operating ride-on mowers and small plant equipment
  • A full, current driver’s licence (manual required; Class 2 a bonus)
  • Good level of physical fitness – this role doesn't just require you to sit on your mower
  • Basic technology skills would be beneficial
  • A strong commitment to health and safety, and a positive, can-do attitude
  • A willingness to learn, grow, and be a valuable part of the team!
