We are looking for an Electrician to carry out installation, maintenance, and repairs of electrical assets efficiently and effectively for our building and maintenance team.
About the role:
You would be required to complete both reactive and planned maintenance work of all electrical equipment within the Waitakere and Rodney region. Other duties will include:
- Provide excellent quality of electrical workmanship across buildings, amenity lighting, Montrose boxes, public BBQ's and more
- Complete all work to the expected quality standards and deadlines
- Willingness to assist others where and when required including being part of the on call roster once every 4/5 weeks
- Efficient in both planned, preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance
- Ability and willingness to follow instructions and meet the required EWRB standards

What we're looking for:
- Current full EWRB Registration - we can not support staff on limited certifications in this position
- Additional qualifications such as Working at Heights and EWP certifications would be advantageous along with a full class 1 Drivers Licence
- Strong results orientation and a proven track record of delivering tasks on time to a high quality standard
- Be able to work independently and within the wider General Maintenance Team
- Well-developed organisation, scheduling and planning skills
- Great communication with both internal teams and external clients/stakeholders
