Sportsfield Drainage/Waterblaster

About the role

We have a fixed term position for a hardworking, detail-oriented DIY person with Sports field drainage knowledge to work within the Henderson/Massey, Waitakere and Rodney districts. You will be tasked with exposing main drains/lateral drains on sports fields to then flush the drainage lines and to camera lines to find any faults. 25% of the job requirement is for Sportsfield Drainage work and 75% is Infrastructure Waterblasting.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Reactive and planned work as required to support the contract
• Use of commercial water blasting equipment for water blasting exterior of buildings and washing of hard surfaces 
• Scope and plan work prior to commencement and meet service delivery requirements and expectations 
• Other tasks as instructed by Contract Manager or Team Leader
• Constant and consistent care for company vehicles, ensuring they are kept clean and tidy, with a regular maintenance regime adhered to 
• Ensure tools are maintained to the appropriate mechanical and presentation standards, and stored in a safe and secure manner
• Vehicle inspections and spot checks of contractors if applicable

About you

• Previous drainage experience would be preferred but comparable skills would be considered
• Can work independently and without direct supervision
• Excellent customer focus, well organised and has a strong work ethic
• Self-motivated and reliable
• Strong focus on detail and accuracy
