Reporting to the Operations Manager this role involves working closely with clients and key stakeholders to achieve quality outcomes on the ground, managing and maintaining the highest standards of the regions first class cricket grounds and other playing surfaces as well as their surroundings at the Semenoff Stadium and Cobham Oval.

This role covers all facets of turf management from initial preparation to ongoing maintenance throughout the year including achieving "match day" readiness.
What we are looking for:
- You will be passionate about sports turf, physically fit with energy to burn, and be self-driven
- Demonstrable experience of 3 years plus and success working in Turf Management with specific experience in preparation and maintenance of cricket pitches and other sports playing turf
- A formal qualification in Turf Management, ideally level 4
- A mechanical aptitude in the use of mowers, tractors and turf related equipment
- Strong attention to detail with well-planned organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously
- A current full Drivers Licence

- You will be passionate about sports turf and in particular cricket wicket preparation and have the desire and enthusiasm to complete all work to high quality standards
- Have strong attention to detail with well-planned organisational skills and the ability to work well autonomously and as part of a team
- Be able to demonstrate a positive attitude and behaviours towards working safely
- Be flexible to work some weekends during the cricket and or rugby season
